As events unfolded my heart went out to you and Tino and I was moved to free flowing tears although I did not know you or Paul. As I wrote to you on a napkin that day........it was very evident the impact Paul had on others lives due the tribute and love they showed him in his death. It also is a testimony to both of you that your influence and love shaped him into a man of character. On the flight, we met as you called me to your seat...a very special conversation between two who know our Lord. I am praying for your family and that Paul's death will cause many to consider eternity and their need to believe, love, and live for our Saviour Jesus who died so those who believe through the cross might live forever with Him. There are no words that diminish the pain, the only thing we can do is become calm knowing they are with God now. Please accept our condolences and know that we will pray for you and your Family. We just watched that wonderful video posted by his fellow workers. Again, we feel a special kinship without actually knowing him, we were both also Airline Employees, and that Family also shares your loss. I wish we had thought to take pictures in Charlotte when his flight came in. Many of the former Orlando and Newark agents were waiting on him. | Comments: | I can't remember a neighbor that I loved as much or had as much fun with as I had with Paul! Our dogs loved each other and played together whenever their owners would come out and socialize behind our homes in front of the lake. Phantom, Roi and Sassy (German Shepherd and 2 Jack Russells) just had a blast together. Mostly the Jacks running circles around Phantom as he tried to nip at them! Paul had a ton of potential. A bright, intelligent individual whose love of airplanes fueled a commitment to his work that continued to grow as he was given opportunity to prove himself. I'm sure, having spent many many hours and days talking to Paul that had he got the support he deserved early on that he'd be doing incredible things in the field of flight! But now that you have wings Paul you soar beyond your wildest dreams! I'm sorry that you didn't have that chance, do do all that your heart desired in the sky and in an airplane.
