Paul Valente, 44, died suddenly on Friday, June 19, 2009, at his home in Orlando, Fla. Paul was a customer service supervisor for US Airways, Orlando, Fla., for the past 24 years. He was the loving son of Celestino M. and Maria A. (nee Carapinha) Valente; dear brother of Elizabeth V. Paizis and her husband, Peter; grandson of Maria Albertina Soares, and nephew of Maria Do Carmo Soares.

Let His Light surround you and wrap you in His Arms.
Oh, Friend of mine you have left us all to soon, And I fear I will never smile or laugh again as only you could make me do. Your unassuming ways endeared you to us all. Our cares you took as your own. Never a thought for you.... you kept your heartache concealed. We love you well, but your scars could not heal.
Your eternal journey has begun, and now you can see how much you meant to me.
Although you are not far.... just beyond the veil.... we will miss the supportive words you gave and kindness that you shared. Walk now always in His Light. Look in on us from time to time. There will be one start much brighter now in the mid-night sky.
